What a jerk!!! I saw this and got mad, and then I laughed at myself b/c I don’t really care about football… still… what a jerk! Oh, and P.S. Mr. Mean Semi Driver - the least you could do is learn how to spell trophy and use correct grammar! I can’t really make out what it says below “trophie,” can you? Call me lame, but I felt like staying in tonight even though it’s Saturday… I rented some movies, the first one - The Inconvenient Truth. Have you seen this?! Woah. Global warming has always frightened me… but now I’m FREAKED OUT! I had one of those “the sky is falling” panics… but they didn’t really say what we’re supposed to do to help besides drive a high mileage car… which I already do b/c gas is my most hated thing to buy… so for some crazy reason, I decided that ripping up old phone books and glueing them to a canvas would make me feel better… so I did… I only ended up using like 20 pages though (might have used more if I hadn’t run out of glue), so my attempt to recycle my phone books wasn’t quite successful… and the end product isn’t really as amazing as I had it imagined it being in my head… but it was fun making it. Here’s a picture of part of it… colored and altered in photoshop, of course. :)

Okay, I’m kind of stretching it today… I went through my iPhoto trying to see if there was anything I could use for today… and I love this photo I took a long time ago… I went shopping today and bought some things from ae that made me VERY happy… the most comfortable tee EVER on clearance for $7… who doesn’t love comfort and a deal?! … anyway that’s where this necklace is from… get it? Okay, tomorrows blog will be more exciting. :)

It was one of those mornings… you know the ones where you SERIOUSLY consider calling in sick… my stomach hurt, my back ached and for no reason at all, I was mad at the world. I didn’t want to put pants on… my stomach felt ten times bigger than normal…… then there they were… my GLORIOUS fat pants!!! These pants are two sizes bigger than my normal… but today they fit with just enough room to be comfortable. I felt GLORIOUS in my fat pants… sure they make my butt look a little droopy/non-existant and aren’t exactly “professional”… but I love them and they love me. I might just wear them again tomorrow… don’t judge me!

I never thought Indian food sounded all that apealing… and today I confirmed my suspicion. The “desserts” pictured above especially. I guess this doesn’t really seem happy… but I guess even though I complained the whole time about being dragged there, it was good to confirm that I don’t like it. :)
I was SO happy to see my newest version of Communication Arts on my desk after lunch. I have always loved that they print “please recycle this mailer creatively” on the package… it’s like a challenge and really makes me want to recycle it somehow… unfortunately, I have yet to come up w/ a way. :( Any suggestions?

Okay, another picture of my phone… atleast it’s a different phone than the last one. ;) I chatted w/ my friend, Shaft, tonight who moved to Texas quite some time ago (I can’t remember how long it’s been exactly). Like Henry, I somehow don’t have a single photo of him!!! I don’t know how either one of them got away with that!! hopefully he’ll be able to come in town for Erika’s wedding and I can get one! :)

I had some good suggestions of things to make for the Colts party, but decided to go with chex mex and add blue m & m like candies. :) I’m actually excited for the game… this is a first in the world of Brooke!!! (although hanging out w/ everyone might be more of my excitement than the game. haha)

Are you all sick of these waffles yet? ‘Cause I’m not!!! :) This one today was the best one yet, the actual waffle was CHOCOLATE! yummmmm My grandma always said that it doesn’t matter what you eat in the morning, b/c by the end of the day, you’ve burned it all off… so I don’t feel guilty at all! ;)
I stopped at Midland Arts & Antiques on my way home from breakfast - in my opinion, it’s the best antique place in Indianapolis! I just love this place! It’s probably good that I have a small car, otherwise I probably would have blown the budget today!
One of my “dreams” is to open a refurbished antique store… one of the other reasons I don’t buy much is b/c of all the work you have to do after you buy something…. clean it, add hooks to hang it up, etc… If the work has already been done, I think people might be more apt to buy… that would be so fun!

At lunch today with my co-workers at Max & Erma’s, most everyone got the ice cream bar. Now, I don’t know if the blue whip cream is a normal Max & Erma’s thing… but I like to think it was special for Blue Friday.
I saw this FUN yellow bus on my way home from work today… it reminded me of Little Miss Sunshine! :)
