After dinner on the north side, I headed home… KNOWING that I should use the restroom before leaving, but I didn’t… so less than half way home, I had to pull over… and it was a some-what scary gas station… but once I was safe inside the restroom, I felt like I was on vacation stopping at a gas station while filling up the gas tank… it was absolute bliss. :)
A picture of my computer to show you where I’ve been all day. ;) Normally a weekend full of freelance work doesn’t make me very happy… other than the money I’ll make… but this weekend I really got into it… something inspired me and the end result turned out pretty great… I have to say it might be some of my best work yet! :) And my “client” replied with a “you rock!” so I think he liked it too! :)
I’m watching Bam’s Unholy Union and they’re getting married on Groundhog’s Day………. I think that’s cool… this is a quote “but if we don’t find a venue soon, we won’t be able to get married on Groundhog’s Day!” … hahaha
I had dinner w/ my two favorite girls from GHS (high school) swimming tonight. I’d only run into them here and there over the years, so it was so great to catch up! :)
I get this weekly photography email and a few weeks ago they sent me one w/ images like the ones above. I thought they were amazing and something I could maybe do. So tonight I took a stab and the above images are what I ended up with. I have to say, I’m quite impressed w/ my skills… you know, like Napoleon…. numchuck(sp) skilllllllls, bow-hunting skillllllls, PHOTOSHOP skillllllls… ;) To see the professional’s pictures, click here.
It’s that time of year when you notice the sun staying out longer… I can’t wait for summer!
So are you guys getting bored of my blog yet? B/C the past few days I’ve been bored of it… then I realized that it’s been about 3 months that I’ve been blogging… I swear… 3 months is my curse… pretty much all of my relationships are over at 3 months… so I’m fightin’ through it b/c I will NOT let 3 months rule my life!!!
The fog this morning didn’t make for the best driving conditions… but it was pretty. :)
After telling my co-worker I wanted to eat healthy for lunch, I choose McDonalds… yeah, a little backwards… but I needed a milkshake more than I needed to eat healthy! And to make matters even BETTER… I saw a sign behind the ring-er-upper-lady that said Shamrock Shakes were back!!! :D Two years ago a friend took me to St. Louis and it was around St. Patrick’s Day, so I had him take me to atleast 3 different McDonalds where we were informed they no longer made them… well folks, they’re BACK!!!! :D …atleast in Indiana.
I’m not a dog person… but I love this little dog that runs across the screen on my FTP program while I’m uploading or downloading things. :)

My friend who I took as my date to Erika’s wedding last night told me that it would be inappropriate of me to wear dress pants to a wedding… so I went out and bought a new dress. I wasn’t really looking forward to wearing it, but once I had it on… I remembered how much I LOVE dresses… I had forgotten how comfortable they really are and how feminine they can make a girl feel… especially the ones that are “poofy” at the bottom. :) Once it starts getting warmer, I’m going to wear them all the time! :)
So the over-the-counter sinus junk wasn’t helping at all… so I marched back over to CVS and asked the pharmacist for my Advil Cold & Sinus… he looked me up and down before he said I could have it… I guess I looked like a drug addict fening(sp) for some… what is it they make out of it??? meth?? Yes, Mr. Pharmacist, I just sneezed right in front of you, but what I really need is some meth… ha… well anyway, did you know that they have to see your ID and write down you DLN and make you sign for it?? I haven’t been sick since before the whole behind-the-counter business… so I thought it was a bit crazy!

We got stuck in the snow on the way there! 5 minutes later, a guy in the neighborhood we were stuck in came home and helped us get out… god bless good samaritans!!!
I opened my curtains this morning and saw these icicles on my balcony… I thought they were really cool. :)
So of course I get sick the weekend of my friend, Erika’s, wedding and when Shaft is in town… I don’t get sick very often, so when I do, I’m extra blaaaaaah. :( I went to the pharmacy yesterday to get some drugs, this lady overheard me asking for cold and sinus stuff (so I guess they don’t sell the stuff I used to get… not even behind the counter. grrr) and told me how she gets sinus infections all the time and puts a heating pad on her head and it breaks it all up… so I’m desperately trying to get rid of this so I can go out w/ everyone tonight… so I tried the heating pad approach… I can actually breathe!!!! :) It made me feel much better… not 100%… but better! :) I would have NEVER thought of this!! How lucky am I to have been in the right place at the right time? - Is it just me, or does everyone else feel the need to call their mother when they’re sick? I don’t know what it is… I guess I just think her mommy-powers will heal me. :)
I must also post about these two dudes who helped me get my car un-stuck out of the snow last night. All of the spots were covered w/ snow downtown… but people were still parked in them, so I figured it would be okay… then I couldn’t go forward… then I couldn’t go backward….. then I paniced a little……… then I noticed these two dudes helping some girls out of their spot… I figured these boys were friends w/ the girls… but then they came over and asked if I needed help once they got the other girls out… GOD BLESS THEM!!!! They spent about 20 minutes getting me out that snow… I wanted to buy them a drink, but they were headed home… seriously… these boys… they’re the type you want to marry… that was the coolest thing ever… chivalry isn’t dead. :)
ps- One of them works at Yats… and he said to eat at Yats… so everyone… EAT AT YATS! :)
I got this fun card in the mail from my friend, Henry, who is back in Taiwan. I don’t know the full meaning of the Chinese New Year, but it was so sweet of him and totally made my day! :)
My co-worker, Lisa, makes the best cookies ever! If you know me, you are probably aware of how distraught I was when Roslynn Bakery closed down… those Happy Face Cookies were THEE best cookies… but I have to say… this cookie here is right up there in yumminess! It made my day so much better! :)
I was scavaging my fridge and cabinets for some sugar… and I found the icing left over from my colts cupcakes. yummmmmmmm! :)
